Associates.
A social media marketing project bringing together visual content, consistent planning and audience interaction. My work covered graphic design, video editing, content calendars, social media growth and engagement, and talent acquisition through social platforms.
01 / CONTEXT
A visual business needs visual communication.
For an architecture and interior design practice, social media is a place to present visual work, communicate a point of view and maintain a recognisable presence. The content needs to feel considered while remaining clear and easy to engage with on a fast-moving feed.
My contribution focused on the day-to-day work that supports that presence: designing graphics, editing video, organising content in calendars and helping the brand communicate consistently across social platforms.
The scope also extended beyond publishing. Social media activity supported audience growth and engagement, and was used as a channel to reach potential talent online.
02 / OBJECTIVE
Build a repeatable content rhythm.
The work brought several connected responsibilities together. The goal was to support a coherent social presence through planned content, suitable creative formats and ongoing interaction.
- 01Organise publishing
Use content calendars to plan and structure upcoming social media posts. - 02Prepare platform-ready creative
Create graphics and edit videos suited to social media consumption. - 03Support audience growth
Contribute to the brand's ongoing social presence and efforts to attract a relevant audience. - 04Encourage interaction and discovery
Support engagement and use social platforms to connect with potential candidates.
03 / CREATIVE PRODUCTION
Turn ideas into social content.
Graphic design and video editing were central parts of my contribution. Each format serves a different role: graphics can communicate a focused idea quickly, while video can give a subject more movement and context.
Graphic design
I worked on visual assets for social media, with attention to presenting information in a clear, feed-friendly format that fits a design-oriented brand.
Video editing
I edited video content for social platforms, helping shape raw visual material into a more structured viewing experience suitable for short-form digital consumption.
Consistency across formats
Both formats sat within the wider content plan. The aim was not to create isolated posts, but to support a steady stream of content that audiences could recognise and understand.
Creative principle
Make the work easy to notice—and easy to understand.
Strong visual presentation matters, but it needs structure and context. The creative should help the audience quickly understand what they are seeing and why it is relevant.
04 / CONTENT PLANNING
Consistency starts before publishing.
Content calendars helped organise the publishing process by giving planned content a place in the wider schedule. Planning makes it easier to coordinate creative production and keep track of what is intended to go live.
- 01Plan ahead
Organise content ideas and scheduled posts in a calendar. - 02Coordinate formats
Account for both graphic and video content in the publishing plan. - 03Keep execution visible
Use the calendar as a working reference for content preparation and publishing. - 04Leave room to learn
Use audience response as a consideration for future content planning.
A calendar creates structure; it does not guarantee performance. Its value is in making content activity more organised and easier to review.
05 / GROWTH & ENGAGEMENT
Publishing is only one part of social.
Social media marketing also involves how people respond to content and whether the account gives them reasons to continue interacting. My responsibilities included supporting social media growth and engagement alongside content production.
Audience growth
Growth is most useful when it brings the account closer to the people it needs to reach. Content planning and consistent creative output provide a foundation for building that audience over time.
Engagement
Engagement is a set of audience signals rather than a single outcome. Reactions, comments, shares and other interactions can help indicate which content prompts a response, although they do not independently prove business impact.
Learn from response
Audience behaviour can inform future content choices. A useful next step is to review platform insights regularly and compare content against a clearly defined objective.
This case study documents the areas of work and responsibilities involved. No specific follower growth, engagement lift, recruitment result or business outcome is claimed because verified figures have not been provided for publication.
06 / TALENT ACQUISITION
Use social platforms to reach people.
One additional part of the work was online talent acquisition through social media. Beyond communicating with an audience about the brand, social platforms can also help organisations surface opportunities and reach people who may be a fit for a role.
- 01Reach potential candidates
Use social media as a channel for online talent discovery. - 02Make information accessible
Present recruitment-related communication in a format people can encounter and understand online. - 03Support the connection
Help create a path for interested people to learn more or respond.
This was a distinct use of social media: applying the platform not only to brand communication and engagement, but also to reaching potential talent.
07 / LEARNINGS
What this work brought together.
- 01Creative and planning work together.
Graphics and videos are easier to coordinate when they sit within a publishing plan. - 02Consistency needs a process.
A content calendar helps turn scattered ideas into an organised schedule. - 03Engagement deserves attention.
Publishing content is only one part of maintaining a social presence; audience response also matters. - 04Social has multiple business uses.
The same platforms can support brand communication, audience interaction and talent discovery.
The experience brought together creative execution and ongoing social media activity. It gave me practical exposure to the moving parts behind a brand's presence—from preparing assets and organising content to supporting engagement and online recruitment.
THE APPROACH
